Tree Services in Lacombe County,
Red Deer and Surrounding Areas

Wolf’s Botanical offers specialized large-scale tree relocation services utilizing a 54-inch truck-mounted tree spade. Incorporating mature trees into your landscape provides immediate visual enhancement and sophistication. This service eliminates the need to wait years for trees to reach maturity. Depending on the species, we are equipped to relocate trees approximately 8 to 18 feet in height into sites with sufficient access for a freightliner truck weighing about 19,000 kg (42,000 lb).

We currently focus on providing trees for commercial projects that are looking for an instantly mature landscape for their new building and acreage owners who require additions to established, mature rows of trees, such as windbreaks or driveways. We also offer tree transplanting services in Lacombe, Ponoka and throughout Central Alberta. If you need a particular tree on your property relocated to a different spot, we can help.

Advantages of Tree Spading

Here is why tree spading is a preferred choice:

Enhanced Privacy with Trees

If you want to enhance the privacy of your yard, consider using large trees as a natural barrier. They can be an instant solution to making your pool or deck feel less exposed to your neighbours. Using a tree spade, you can easily reorganize new or existing trees and turn your yard into a private retreat.

Preserving Trees with Character

Cutting down older and larger trees isn't always necessary. If you have trees with character and history, you can safely relocate them to a more suitable location with the help of our tree spade.

Trees as Design Elements

Incorporating trees into your home design can add a touch of sophistication and soften the architectural lines of your home. Bringing in unique trees can create a more cohesive and integrated look with the rest of your landscaping.

Functional Trees

Strategically arranging trees can provide natural shade by the pool, screen an outdoor space, or even shade your home and reduce cooling costs in the summer. In the winter, large trees can also protect your home from harsh winds and reduce heating costs.

Time and Effort Savings

Using a tree spade can save you time and effort compared to planting and maintaining a juvenile tree. As your neighbourhood and landscape evolve, using a tree spade can give your yard the edge to keep up with the changes.

Great Selection of Trees and Shrubs

“It's a lovely garden center lots great selection of trees and shrubs. They also have some perennials and annuals as well. I think the most significant thing is they have large sized trees for sale that you would need to be planted with a backhoe. Which would be great if you really want/need more mature trees for your desired location now! The cherry and willow trees were especially lovely. The lady was very helpful and knowledgeable she took us around telling us what would be good for our yard and needs. We didn't end up buying as we are still in the planning stage. The prices were a bit more compared to other places but they were mostly bigger sized trees than what we saw elsewhere. So they are great if you need something already well established.”
